It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my retirement! After nearly 31 years running a solo law practice in Orange County, California, I have decided to devote the remainder of my life to fulfilling my other dreams, not the least of which is spending more time with my wife Rosalie who has been retired from teaching for over nine years.

Although I will continue to complete any ongoing work for my current clients, I have closed my physical office, and I will be working out of my home for the remainder of 2015, meeting with current clients, as needed, at my colleague Marty Burbank's law office, conveniently located just a few blocks south from the office I have held in Fullerton.

Which brings me to my next point: I have thought long and hard about who would be a good candidate to take over my law practice and handle the future needs of my past and future clients. Considering high standards, legal knowledge, dedication to client satisfaction, and geographic proximity, I am pleased to announce that my long-time friend and colleague, Marty Burbank, will be taking over my practice. Some of you may remember that when I created my Internet radio program Where There's a Will, There's a Way in 2011, my first co-host was Marty Burbank. If you have listened to those Internet radio programs, you will know how knowledgeable Marty is in all areas of estate planning and elder law.
